Abstract Modular substations meet the development trends of power transmission system. However, operation maintenance strategy for modular substation is still lacking. Herein, an intelligent proposed based on fault tree method. After rating state components in equipment, equipment obtained. Subsequently, by analyzing relationship between and modules substation, a model established to calculate risk value each module. Eventually, time model, optimal cycle module under different states calculated put forward. This paper helpful improve efficiency quality substations.
